Controversial boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. is running his mouth again. This time, Money May is attacking the media and not Manny Pacquaio. Mayweather believes all the attention and hype surrounding the budding superstar for the New York Knicks, Jeremy Lin, is only because of his race.
“Jeremy Lin is a good player but all the hype is because he’s Asian. Black players do what he does every night and don’t get the same praise,” Mayweather wrote on his Twitter account
I didn’t know that Mayweather had become an offical NBA Player Spokesperson. I wonder how much the Money Team earns from that position?
“Its OK for ESPN to give their opinion but I say something and everyone questions Floyd Mayweather,” the boxer tweeted. “I’m speaking my mind on behalf of other NBA players. They are programmed to be politically correct and will be penalized if they speak up.”
There is one big difference between you and ESPN, Junior. It is ESPN’s job to give their opinion and report on the news in the NBA. Not yours. Floyd should probably stick to boxing, gambling and Pacquiao because Manny will be waiting for you when you get out of jail.
